The announcement was made by the social network’s director, Adam Mosseri. While the details about the new timeline have not been specified, the feature aims to provide more advantages to those who are verified.
“We are testing a way for people to explore their Instagram feeds and scrolls, switching to only Meta Verified accounts. We’re exploring this as a new control for individuals and a way for businesses and creators to be discovered. Let us know if you are interested in using this,” Mosseri said.
Meta hopes that ‘Verified’ can be an incentive for business accounts and creators looking to increase their presence on social media.
